TECHNOLOGY EVIDENCE

“What should we call these “new” students of today? Some refer to them as the N-[for Net]-gen or D-[for digital]-gen. But the most useful designation I have found for them is Digital Natives. Our students today are all “native speakers” of the digital language of computers, video games and the Internet”

-Marc Prensky

Although it is important to incorporate technology as a target of instruction, digital tools become more efficient when the teacher designs tasks around them and integrates them into the curriculum. The documents below were created for Teaching Foreign Languages with Technology Course FLT 881. These documents include a final project essay for creating an online unit on Canvas and a lesson plan template where the use of technology was included. In addition to these two, my Experiential Module project is another example of my use of technology.
