About Me

I am a French and Arabic language teacher, currently serving as a Curriculum Chair for the Language and Culture department at Appleby College.

I have designed and taught Arabic courses for all levels in the United States and Canada. My experience is based on three countries with three different contexts: Lebanon, the United States, and Canada.

My Final Experiential Module Project focused on curriculum design and teachers’ materials. The pages of this site offer an overview of the rich and rigorous master’s program that I have completed at Michigan State University and show a compilation of intercultural lessons that I have designed, assignments that I have completed, presentations and workshops I have given on Arabic language and culture and assessment tools I have used during my master’s studies in Foreign Language Teaching (MAFLT). In addition, you will find a compilation of items and resources made by teachers for teachers.

My career as a language teacher started in 1999 in Lebanon. I taught Arabic language and literature for young learners.

In 2003, I moved to the U.S and taught Arabic as a foreign language for all levels, young and adult learners.

Since 2010, I have been residing in Canada and teaching French and Arabic Studies, working with talented students, and amazing colleagues.
